The DMF is known for BBQ.  Using the church’s massive smoker, the men prepare pulled pork, beef, chickens, turkeys, salmon and more. Much of it is given away to Disciples Conference Center near Gonzales, TX (our church camping facility). The DMF provide a monthly dinner to the guests of the Montgomery County Women’s Shelter.

Over the years, this DMF has built dormitories for an orphanage in Mexico, a private home for a resident family of Matamoros, Mexico, finished house construction for families who suffered tragic illnesses and accidents while building their own homes, and have provided support and encouragement for many on the edges of life.
