Senior Minister

Rev. Dr. Amber Mattingly joined our team in July of 2023. Amber is passionate about teaching practices that invite people to see and hear God, themselves, and each other. This passion comes from the Genesis story of Hagar who names God, The God Who Sees. This powerful story reminds Amber that no one is outside the boundary of God's love. Rev. Dr. Amber Mattingly is a 1999 Graduate of Baylor University and she received her Master of Divinity degree from George W. Truett Theological Seminary in 2002. Recently, she completed her Doctor of Ministry degree at Claremont School of Theology. Amber loves spending time with her family. She enjoys soaking in the beauty of nature through long walks, exploring her emotions through yoga & art, and having a good belly laugh with friends. Amber looks forward to a wonderful adventure with the TWCC church family!
