DWF (Disciples Women's Fellowship) 

Purpose:​

​

  • To provide opportunities for spiritual growth, enrichment, education and creative ministries to enable woman to develop a sense of personal responsibility for the whole mission of the church of Jesus Christ.  

  • To provide a channel through which women in the congregations and the regional Women's Ministries in The United States and Canada, may be joined in fellowship and find means for effective participation in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)



 

Service Projects:​

​

  •  Fill toiletry bags for The Montgomery County Women's Shelter and the Salvation Army Shelter. 

  • Contribute to the meals provided to the Montgomery County Women's Shelter and the Salvation Army by our TWCC Men's Group.

  • Contribute monthly to the Pastor's Fund, which is used to fund emergencies. 

  • Annually, collect snack items for the College Care Packages. These Packages are sent to our college students to aid them in studying for their final exams. 

Power Hour Bible Study
 every 2nd Sunday of the
month @ 9:00 a.m. in the Ministry Center

Women's Shelter Meals 4th Saturday of the month with exceptions as marked * 

(8/27, 9/17,10/22, 11/19*, 12/17*, 1/28, 2/18*, 3/25, 4/22, 5/20*)

 

We will be participating in the Dickens on Cypress Creek Craft Show  Nov 11 & 12, 10 am - 4 pm 

 

College Care collection drive this year will begin in October with final due date Nov 13.  Packages will be assembled 11/15 and mailed post Thanksgiving if necessary.

 

  • Kick Off Luncheon           Sept 18      11 am  (potluck)  Gentlemen escorts are welcome to stay for the meal

  • Make - n - Take Social     Oct 15       11 am  (finger foods to share)  Craft Day, possible outside program

  • Christmas Banquet          Dec 11      11 am  (Probable All Church Meal)  PACN Tree and Church Members Craft Sale

  • Retreat Event                  Feb 25       TBD time and place

  • Spring Fling                     Apr 1          11 am  (salad potluck)  Election of Officers

  • Installation                       May 6         11 am  (catered lunch)
