Vision & Mission

The Woodlands Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is led by Christ and dedicated to the glory of God. We declare that "Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God." We encourage members to read and seek to understand scripture for themselves in community with fellow believers, guided by prayer and the Holy Spirit. We celebrate the Lord's Supper every week, open to all who profess Christ.

We are members of the Body of Christ from diverse backgrounds who find common ground for worship at the Lord's Supper. We are an inclusive, family-oriented congregation, providing a spiritual alternative to the material world for those living in our community. We reach out in invitation to our neighbors, and especially to those believers who are no longer active but wish to rediscover their faith.

We are a friendly church whose members support and encourage each other, the ministers, and our leadership. Our foremost goal is to develop the spiritual lives of our members. Our love for God is demonstrated through spirit-filled worship, dynamic prayer and focused outreach. Through our witness, we share mercy, grace and forgiveness with others.
