Loving
God
means honoring God through worship, giving your life to
God, and being in relationship with God through the grace we
show each other. It's the first and greatest commandment.
Sunday services include New Life, an upbeat,
highly-charged contemporary service with communion by
intinction led by our New Life Singers at 9:00 a.m., and Traditional,
a deeply-moving worship experience with communion passed
through the congregation, led by the chancel choir, organ,
handbells, other vocalists and instrumentalists at 11:00
a.m.. Dr. Rob Hunt directs the music in both services.
The Elders meet weekly for intercessory prayer on behalf
of the congregation, the community, and the world. The Quilt
Ministry creates prayer quilts for those in need, with knots
tied by the congregation with each prayer offered. A special
Prayer class meets during the Sunday School hour at 10:00 to
strengthen the spiritual life of the congregation.
