(Sunday School)
is a discipleship education program for all ages. For the
youngest to the oldest, Sunday morning classes are carefully
designed to help you grow in your faith and understanding of
scripture, prayer, church history, and ways to live
meaningfully in today's world. Some classes involve
long-term study, while others are designed to explore a
particular issue for a shorter number of weeks. All are open
and accessible to first-time guests.
Sunday morning classes for children and youth meet at
10:00:
- Nursery
- Pre-K to 4th grade (A1)
- 5th-8th grade (A5)
- 9th-12th grade (C12-13)
Sunday morning classes for adults meet at 10:00:
- The Heart of Christianity - Meets upstairs in room
C12-13. A discussion on Marcus J. Borg's "The Heart of
Christianity: Rediscovering a Life of Faith." Led by Mark
Meyer.
- Genesis to Revelation - Meets upstairs in room C16. A
detailed journey through the Bible from beginning to end.
Led by James Morris.
- History of Christianity - Meets upstairs in room C15.
A look at ideals and events and how they affected the
development of Christianity. Led by John Ehrman.
- Cup of Christ - Meets downstairs in the Ministry
Center. Open discussion on scripture, how it speaks to us,
and its effect on our daily lives. Led by Rey Hernandez.
- Bible Discovery Class - Meets downstairs in the
Library. Discovery and discussion of scripture, currently
journeying through Paul's epistles. Led by Bill Cadwell.
